Tow Ratings for Dodge 2500

Hello all, I am wondering if anyone knows the tow rating for a Dodge 2500 4 x 4 Mega Cab with a 6.7 Cummins. I am contemplating switching to a 5er from my TT.
Looking for info on 5er towing with this vehicle.
Thanks in advance.

Anchoring into TT walls

Hi all! I have a quick question that shouldn't be too difficult. I have a toilet paper holder that has been on the wall with sticky tape for about 4 years and held just fine. Recently it has fallen off and will not stick even with new tape. I tried drilling small holes and using standard anchors in the wall, but because of the thin walls, it will not stay tight.
Does anyone have any other suggestions??????? :h Aside from through-bolting!!!:R As someone tried telling me a while back!
Thanks in advance!

Feedback on Larger TT's

Hey everyone! I am just wondering about all those out there that have TT's over 34'. I am just curious what sort of towing issues, parking issues (limitations) you might have out there. I have read in the past some having up to 40' and have had no problems. I am looking at trailers in the 34 - 38(LOA) range and just wondering if there are going to be "more" limitation for me from my current 32' (LOA) tralier.
Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance,
Craig

Changing all four wheels and tires

Hey everyone! I finally got my new TV and love it. I also just bought new wheels and tires for the TT. I found the wheel/ tire combo on ebay for about $5(each) more than buying new tires alone at Sams. Plus I get shiny new polished wheels opposed to the white ones now.
I am wondering what the easiest way to change all four. Is it possible to lift the entire camper off the axels with the stab jacks and 4 other jacks as well? I really didnt think this was good for the frame, but wanted to ask. I have changed a tire about twice on my TT but neither time was very easy. I have the block to pull a good tire on, but it still didnt raise the bad tire enough with jacking up the frame or axel.
I want to thank everyone in advance. This forum has always been a great resource for me. Thanks all!

Ford, Chevy/GMC, or Dodge Diesel????

Hey all! Hope everyone is well. It has been quite sometime since I've posted.
I am search of a new truck/tow vehicle. I am looking for all opinions regarding Ford 250, Chevy/GMC 2500 and Dodge 2500 Ram. I have been a longtime Chevy/GMC fan, but have recently been buying Fords. I had a 2002 Excusion Diesel which was an awesome vehicle. I also do know that there have been many problems with the latest version diesels (my brother has one and has had some issues). I also am aware that Ford has about the most features in a truck as far as the built in brake controller and step/handle at the tailgate.
Here is one other key factor...my needs...I will use this as an everyday truck. ALso, towing my 32' trailer about 4 times a year back and forth from NC to CT with shorter tows in between. I would also like to within the next couple years upgrade to a bit larger TT. I would like a 34 or 36'possibly.
Please give me any/all feedback regarding your experiences with NEWER model Chevy/GMC, FORD, and DODGE DIESEL trucks.
THanks in advance....I look forward to reading all the opinions.

RE: Sewage Smell in Camper

Thanks to all! One thing that I have forgotten to mention which may be an important one is that the camper is set up permanently on the site for now. I have my tow vehicle in another state for a few months until the campground closes.
It sounds like to me, maybe what i need to do is fill it all the way, have it pumped out...and them fill it all the way again with clear water, and have that pumped. I just have to pay for each pumping, but it might be worth every penny to eliminate the smell..
Thanks again,
Craig

Sewage Smell in Camper

Hello All, its been a while since I have posted in here. Hope all is well.
My problem is that my black tank has the typical foul smell but it is continously getting worse. The facts leading up to the problem are... I use the camper every weekend and there is no sewer in the campground. The campground pumps it out every other week on demand. I think part of the problem is it staying in there and the heat of the summer is making it worse. I have tried putting chemicals in and it has not helped. Usually in the past, i can flush clean water through a time or two to clean it out, but i am limited as there is no sewer in the campground. Does anyone have any ideas on how to eliminate this foul smell quickly? I would certainly appreciate any advice.
Thanks in advance,
Craig
